"I have always envied the idea of working out and being fit, however my fear of going to the gym has always held me back. I finally took the plunge to sign up for a membership, and just at the perfect time.

The Weight Loss Challenge was about to start and I knew this was just what I needed to break down the barrier that held me back. The difference I feel from week one, to now is life changing. The scared unconfident girl that walked into that first class is gone. Every workout in the last 12 weeks has challenged me, but taught me so much.

It will never be easy, and I will have to work for it, but I CAN DO IT. That is a feeling I can’t explain.

Jamie was an instrumental part of my transformation. She believed in me when I didn’t. Jamie’s encouragement, support, motivation, and words of advice were always there and made the difference in my transformation. The accomplishments I have made, both mentally and physically are more than I could ever imagine.

I can’t wait to continue this journey with my new found passion for fitness by striving to become a trainer myself."

"HealthSPORT has given me the opportunity to make the commitment and necessary lifestyle changes needed to become a healthier me. HSPFit classes and personal training has taught me how to workout for the best results. I learned that proper technique ensures us less risk of injury along with targeting the muscles desired for the chosen exercise.

Giving up some favorite foods has been difficult. Creative substitutes like cauliflower crust pizza still doesn't hit home. As a chef, I find myself cooking out of my comfort zone to make healthier meals.

Most importantly I've become more confident in myself. Pushing to become the best me, with HealthSport I can make the right choices for a healthier life.

I can achieve my fitness goals through the ongoing commitment of gym membership and personal training. Since February I've met my goal for weight loss and gained more muscle than expected. I've nearly cut out all processed food along with low carbs and gluten intake.

My fitness journey has just begun! I am excited to start the next chapter of personal fitness as I plan to enter the upcoming Spartan Race. Aroo! Special thanks to all the staff for their help, knowledge and encouragement.
