Ideally, if you're trying to shed some weight, then you're eating enough food to support your activity level and help you lose body fat...which means if you're feeling super hungry in between meals, go ahead and eat something!

But selecting the right snack is important, and the old low-fat food days is long gone. These days, it's becoming more and more common knowledge (and more and more supported by science) that eating a diet comprised of higher amounts of healthy fat and protein and lower amounts of carbs is generally idea for most people who are trying to lose weight. And while there's no such thing as a one-size-fits-all diet plan, these seven snacks will be great to have on hand for almost anyone's weight loss journey.

1. Let's Do Organic Unsweetened Coconut Flakes
